Child Passenger Safety Division
Professional Technicians Dedicated to Keeping Children Safe
Did you know:
Eight out of ten car seats are not installed properly. Is yours one of them?
All children under the age of thirteen should be properly restrained in the back seat of the car.
Car crashes are the number one killer of children ages 3 to 14 in the United States. You can reduce this risk by ensuring that they are properly buckled in the back seat of the car until age thirteen and that they are in the appropriate type of car seat or booster until the adult lap and shoulder belt fit properly.
New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance offers free child safety seat checks seven days a week as follows:
| Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. | walk-in |
| Tuesday, Thursday | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. | by appointment |
We are located at 555 Union Avenue behind New Windsor Town Hall.
Please email childsafety@newwindsorems.org to schedule a safety seat check.
